The going theory is Russia is acting out in space the same way they do on earth; harassing other nations. I believe Turkiye shot down an Russian aircraft that was dipping in and out of their air space. The pilot ejected in time. That is a game they have played for many years. Most countries will scramble jets to redirect their attention to the border. But you never know when it will turn real. And apparently we have no intelligence.

They just put the satellites into orbit. The whole world knew they were launching; no news coverage. I mean really, you have to admit it is badass when you can just launch satellites in your own defense. Russia is going after the satellite Ukraine uses for targeting their troops – just launched in 2024. According to Iran, SpaceX would be eligible.
