Actually began in 1953, when the United States of America overthrew the democratically elected leader of Iran.
The hypocrisy is rambunctious.
The Shah was installed in similar fashion to Saddam Hussein in Iraq. In 1979 the Shah walked away, the revolution was a success. The Shah designed a caste system. The people on the bottom grew too large, because the Shah is an idiot.
The man Trump proposes outside Iran is the Shah’s son. That dog would not hunt. So he made up the story of a high ranking official inside Iran.
Notwithstanding Donald Trump’s lies; The United Kingdom and the United States have literally brutalized the Middle East. To return the Middle East to the honour I am certain they once knew – Iran would need to completely take over some smaller countries. They are weak. They have no vision for the future like the Great Kingdom of Iran.

Let us all stand corrected. This is not a war against Iran, the war is against Persia. The Persian Gulf.
I am just trying to keep things real. Flip that script. Europeans have always been the aggressor in Persia. Justifiably, Iran would see an end to it.
Egypt will remain bystanders.
Israel is becoming existential.
Godspeed
[old adages rummage through the perils of my four cornered room with incessant frequency. ‘you reap what you sow’. sowest thou destruction? or sowest thou eternal life?]

Before 1979, Iran under Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi functioned as a close U.S. ally—often described by historians as a “client state”—due to extensive American military, economic, and political support; this relationship ended with the Islamic Revolution, which overthrew the Shah and established a regime opposed to U.S. influence (Abrahamian 2008, 206; BBC, “Iran profile – Timeline,” https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-14541327).
[the US and Israel (ten bitches), be still trying to draw Iran’s leader into the open. another assassination is their only strategy]
