Pope Leo

Certainly you would know better than I but When I heard your comment about God rejecting prayers, my spirit became disquieted.

To know that a supreme being rejects a thing you would have to know what its thoughts are.

I have found many instances conveying similar intent to your statement. But I must object to your saying that God rejects anything.

I heard somewhere that God hates a liar and a thief; words I live by so I hope they are true. But hate is the strongest language specifically attributed to God, in my limited knowledge.

Due respect, I simply think it a poor choice of words, without matching scripture – the use the word reject, not implied.

A bit strong. But that could be you saying this is who I am and what I represent. Nobody can have a problem with that.

In Christ

[I also feel we need room for a person who might have had; a “praying grandmother”. I will try this without consultation; single quote; ‘ I was once young and am now old. I have yet to see the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread’. another phrase I live by-hopefully true]

[in fairness I have heard the phrase, “will not be heard” – which could equate to rejection. I have God as being slightly more liberal, under the New Testament. my final comment on the matter – wwjd. in the end, God deferred all to his Son. I have a son. it is a remarkable sense of accomplishment to say, “I’m done” – I turn it to you]

[I maintain the belief that God hears all prayers. In the end (of time) Christians will be Judged by Jesus the Christ. Non-Christians will be judged by God. I praise and pray to God. I worship Jesus the Christ, my personal savior]

Good talk
