Valor

Some time ago they started handing out awards to everybody who started the race, or every team gets a different size trophy. I never liked that idea, to raise children with that thought process. That is not the valor that adorned us. The mentality associated with this thought process enables the entitlement gene, found in more modern generations.

A medal in the military no longer carries any weight. We never actually felt like we deserved a medal. It does not help that anybody can earn one.

Valor has gone down with reason, in the United States. Regrettably, valor is not something that can be recovered. It must be instilled. In America we have become totally disabled at our moral center. And we never actually rated very high to begin with.

Maybe it is a good thing that our valor has died, along side free speech and our ability to reason as a whole.

Jailhouse mentality, or tribal -same soup different bowl; meaning – individuality has died, as well. Extinct beyond technical creation. The world has re-factioned itself. Instead of flags we now use symbols.

Death to Free Speech

There is a professor from the University of Washington, in America – removed by Israel, for being opposed to the war.

There is a fundamental question, now smoldering in a heap of spent ashes; Does the United States of America still qualify as a democracy?

Hezbollah in the Med

Hezbollah are claiming to have struck an Israeli War vessel off the coast of Lebanon. Considering it might be propaganda, lets dig around the alleged fact a bit.

With regards to technology; Iran is proving superior to Israel and the United States. We will not sacrifice many more birds in their sky.

A large part of Iran’s drone program is down to us; they captured one of our downed drones under Obama(?). They definitely captured a downed craft-not sure about Obama.

My point is simple; Iran is showing a superior ability to advance technology, and they hit an Israeli ship way back in 2006. What does logic mandate?

So we must consider the possibility the strike is true. Now, President Trump is huffing and puffing about the Strait of Hormuz; using actual language that depicts his mindset – “fucking”. His head might be about to explode. (I imagine that would be pretty colorful-actually).

Iran has the ability to control the Mediterranean Sea entrance; the Gulf of Aden, and the Gulf of Oman. He might want to STFU.

The GCC countries are literally watching as their economies are decimated. All for their desire to be European; fail. They just took your money. Now you will resume your heritage.

Europe will soon take a big gulp from the “oh shit” mug, again. The quivers will be coming next.

Spare Parts

As a former supply troop in the 23rd Supply Squadron (no idea where headquarters is) – I have a quote for you: “Spare parts win wars”.

I was MICAP (mission capable-red alert) in the reserves out of Tinker AFB. My yearly reserve duty was to support E-3A aircraft worldwide. I earned the name “Action Jackson” because I get results. No matter where in the world a bird was down for parts – we got the part to them in their location. Preferably hours, not days.

Spare parts are so crucial, as I was leaving active duty in the Air Force they started COSO. They literally put a small supply outlet on the flight line to save time getting parts.

The stranded birds Iran is bombing have likely been cannibalized. (When they cannot get a part for a plane, they use the plane for spare parts to keep other aircraft flying). All aircraft remain in inventory waiting parts.

They are in the desert taking in a ton of dust. Gyroscopes and altimeters can fail after every flight – for no particular reason. I doubt that has changed.

President Trump thinks you give a command and everything just works because you are the greatest military on earth. Our military are fighting more than one battle.

I am a peacetime veteran. They tell me I still count. Everything I convey is how the military stays fit year round.

For Hezbollah, and the Houthis, and the IRG – Iran has a certifiable training program. Nobody can beat whom they train-up. Israel is about to lose in Lebanon for the second or third time.

Easter

This is not original to me; I just heard an Easter Message on Press TV which reminded us the United States is aligned with the people who crucified Jesus. They are literally the reason why you celebrate once a year.

Consistent with my premonition that God sent Iran and Hezbollah to prevent any future illusion of the promise, based on Israels denial of the New Testament.

Her name is Shelly Renee Kittleson, an American freelance journo. There is no doubt she is on the hunt for the story. Clearly a gutsy lady, she enacted one maneuver too many. She was kidnapped on Tuesday in Iraq.

She was warned in advance that there were threats against her by the State department.

This one is not questionable. She is clearly on the hunt for a story. She likely dismissed any threat out-of-hand because she is so comfortable in the region.

GCAP

I think we can all agree that the US “F” – series fighter jets should be retired. I honestly believe the F-15 remains the most reliable jet we have. The Navy and Marines did well with F-18’s for a good bit.

I did get a bit of nostalgia when they showed the jets the NASA pilots flew in – My last active duty assignment; Holloman AFB New Mexico. It was a tactical base. They flew T-38’s for training, with a wing of F-15’s on permanent assignment. The NASA pilots appeared to fly T-38’s. F-15’s are still active. I was reminiscing a bit. We are not here to discuss America.

GCAP stands for Global Combat Air Program. It is a joint venture by Japan, Italy and the UK to produce a new fighter jet line by 2035. With an eye toward drone interaction. I believe the initial funding is over $400 million. I just got wind of it, but they have been at it since 2022. Based on a 2007 decision by the United States to not sell F-22 raptors, abroad.

The news feature I watched emphasized the drone interaction; not so much elsewhere. I would only suggest that if the intention is drone interaction. A highly sophisticated drone should be designed alongside the jet. Thereby the drone technology can receive the lightening speed updates without disrupting the jets technology.
