It is laughable that President Trump is trying to paint Iran as a rogue nation. Not only does she have multiple satellites in the sky. The rumors about being capable of shooting satellites out of the sky is something they have been training to do; since 1985.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard has an aerospace branch (the IRGC AES) and based on level of intelligence likely are developing the capabilities suggested. This would put Iran on similar footing as other great nations like the United States of America.
However, we approach other great nations with diplomacy. We fear Iran. Why – racism. The same racism that the White man fears in the Black man, for the rest of his life.

Sanctions clearly did not work in Iran. What a particular eye will notice about Iran is anytime you see any equipment it is top of the line. I have seen photos of Hezbollah fighters with tremendously expensive kit. When you see pictures of any equipment in Israel it is typically 40 years old.
Sanctions have disrupted Iran to the point where they are threatening if we disturb their cash flow. Sanctions played out in the 20th century.
