Every American performer or artist seemingly have a similar problem regarding their Jewish identity; blacklisting. I only posted this story to say that. Soon I will send a RIP! to art. It is clear that the term “starving artist” is from an era when art had more value than money – to the artist. They are all capitalists now. Well within their rights.
Hopefully people still paint for pleasure so that someday we might recover a treasure trove of their best works. (For now I will leave the saga of art on a positive note).
Actually, I believe it is twisted in my head. Music and performance arts are now classified as entertainment, not art. My bad.
