This statement is regarding the backlash from Israel’s treatment of Sumud hostages:
“Tajani said on Thursday on X that he had formally asked EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas to include the adoption of sanctions against Ben-Gvir on the agenda of the next meeting of EU foreign ministers”.
My prediction is this will quietly go away.

Israel is like having an embarrassing and perverted drunk uncle who attends every family picnic, and happens to be committing genocide. You cannot say anything; for that is your mothers brother with his hand under your skirt. “Catch-22” is the term I am looking for – long outdated.
