Sanctions clearly did not work in Iran. What a particular eye will notice about Iran is anytime you see any equipment it is top of the line. I have seen photos of Hezbollah fighters with tremendously expensive kit. When you see pictures of any equipment in Israel it is typically 40 years old.
Sanctions have disrupted Iran to the point where they are threatening if we disturb their cash flow. Sanctions played out in the 20th century.
