It is real. HR. 6508 is a Bill introduced in the House of Representatives to withdraw the United States from NATO.
The companion Bill in the senate is S.2174. Both versions – House and Senate are called “The NATO ACT” (Not A Trusted Organization).
Long story short. It looks like we are pulling out of NATO.
Josep Burrell Fontelles, the former EU foreign policy chief seems to think Trump’s new strategy is a declaration of political war against Europe. It would seem that his position is not unfounded. However, I do not have anything on Trumps position on the Bill. He and Massie are not friends. It could be that the Houe and Senate tie his hands. This is actually their foreign policy.
Another inconsistency, not mentioned in the news media is that President Trump has not considered confiscating the 5 billion in Russian assets held by the US. And has convinced Japan to not contribute the 25 billion they are holding. Europe’s last message was that the money they are confiscating from Russia will be a loan. Ukraine must pay the money back unless Russia agrees to debt forgiveness.
There is a monumental shift in US foreign policy. I am still waiting for the part where we divest US troops internationally.
Could there be some partnership in the works between Putin and Trump, the US would be powerless to stop it? They shot that load in the first administration. Ideal time to “make-it-so”.
